Which Exams Taken By NTA(National Testing Agency)?

The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducts several major national-level entrance examinations in India, prominently including JEE Main (Engineering), NEET UG (Medical), and CUET (Central Universities).You can check updates directly through the National Testing Agency portal.

Major Undergraduate Entrance Exams JEE Main:

Joint Entrance Examination for admission to engineering programs in NITs, IIITs, and a qualifier for JEE Advanced.

NEET UG: National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for medical and dental courses (MBBS, BDS) across India.

CUET UG: Common University Entrance Test for undergraduate admissions in central and participating universities.

NCET: National Common Entrance Test for the 4-year Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP).

The National Testing Agency (NTA) was established as a Society registered under the Indian Societies Registration Act, of 1860.

It is an autonomous and self-sustained testing organization to conducts entrance examinations for admission/fellowship in higher educational institutions.

This decision has been taken under the New Education Policy (NEP-2020) to address the shortage of teachers and provide employment opportunities to young people quickly. Moreover, this course will give more importance to practical training, internships, and school-based learning, so that trained teachers can enter the classroom with real-world experience.
