How the UP D.El.Ed 2026 Counselling Process Works

The complete selection process takes place online through a centralized platform across multiple rounds:

Step 1: State Rank Publication: Once the application correction/re-print window closes, the authority will release the cumulative merit ranks. Your state rank is calculated by combining the aggregate percentages of your Class 10th, Class 12th, and Graduation marks.

Step 2: Counselling Fee & Choice Filling: Candidates will log into the portal during their rank-wise scheduled phase. To participate in choice filling, you will need to pay a mandatory counselling/seat locking fee (typically ₹5,000). You can then select and lock as many government (DIET) and private colleges as you prefer.

Step 3: Seat Allotment Result: The PNP will publish seat allotment results online based on your rank, category, and preferred choices.

Step 4: College Reporting & Document Verification: If you accept the allocated seat, you must download your allotment letter and physically report to the designated college to verify your original documents and secure your final admission.
