CBSE has extended verification and re-evaluation window

CBSE: Re-Evaluation for Class 12 Students New Deadline 

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has extended the deadline for Class 12 students to apply for re-evaluation and verification of marks until June 7 (midnight).

This decision was made after students faced technical glitches and heavy server traffic on the official CBSE apply portal.

Key Details and Deadlines

New Deadline: Students can now submit their forms until June 7, 2026, at 11:59 PM (Midnight).

Previous Deadline: The earlier last date to apply was June 6.

Reason for Extension: Since the portal opened on June 2, students encountered login errors and maintenance downtime while trying to access their answer sheets.

How to Apply

   1. Visit the official CBSE portal at cbse.gov.in.

   2. Click on the "Verification and Re-evaluation of Class 12 Answer Sheets" link on the homepage.

   3. Enter your roll number and the required login credentials.

   4. Select the subjects you want reviewed, pay the prescribed fee, and submit.

Application fee

Scanned Copy of Answer Book: Rs.100

Verification of Marks: Rs. 100

Re-evaluation: Rs. 25 per question

Refund Policy: If you marks increase after re-evaluation, the fee paid for that specific challenge is refunded.

This extension provides relief to thousands of students who could not complete their applications due to technical issues. Students are advised to complete the process early to avoid last-minute traffic.
