The B.Ed. 2nd and 4th semester results for the 2025–2026 session at Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University (CSJMU) are expected to be declared tentatively by mid-June 2026, following the completion of the even semester examinations. The National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) has decided to implement a new one-year B.Ed. course from 2026. This decision has been taken under the New Education Policy (NEP-2020) to address the shortage of teachers and provide employment opportunities to young people quickly. Moreover, this course will give more importance to practical training, internships, and school-based learning, so that trained teachers can enter the classroom with real-world experience.
