Bihar Secondary Teacher Eligibility Test (STET) 2026 

The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) will begin the online application process for the Bihar Secondary Teacher Eligibility Test (STET) 2026 on August 17, 2026. Eligible candidates can apply through the official website at BSEB STET Portal.

Key Exam Details 

Purpose: State-level eligibility test for secondary (Classes 9–10, Paper 1) and senior secondary (Classes 11–12, Paper 2) teaching jobs in Bihar.

Format: 150-mark Computer-Based Test (CBT) with 150 minutes duration.

Structure: 100 marks for the selected specific subject and 50 marks for teaching aptitude/other skills.

Eligibility Criteria:

Paper 1 (Classes 9–10): Relevant Graduation degree with at least 50% marks plus a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) degree.

Paper 2 (Classes 11–12): Relevant Post-Graduation degree plus a B.Ed degree.

Age Limit: Maximum age is 37 years for unreserved male candidates, with relaxations for women, reserved categories, and backward classes.

How to Apply (Once Portal Opens)

Visit the official portal at bsebstet.org.  

Click on the registration link for new candidates.

Fill in basic details to generate login credentials (User ID and Password).

Log back into the portal using your credentials.

Complete the application form with your educational and personal details.

Upload scanned copies of your photograph, signature, and required certificates.

Pay the application fee and submit the final form, ensuring you download/print a copy of the confirmation page.
