Suvendu Adhikari is a prominent Indian politician from West Bengal, who has been nominated by the BJP to be the state's next Chief Minister in May 2026.He has been the Leader of the Opposition in the West Bengal Legislative Assembly since 2021 and is the son of veteran Medinipur politician Sisir Adhikari.
