CUET UG Exam Syllabus

The CUET UG 2026 syllabus is strictly based on the NCERT Class 12 curriculum for domain subjects, with exams conducted in a Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode. It includes three sections: Languages (Reading Comprehension, Vocabulary), 27+ Domain-Specific Subjects (Physics, Accountancy, etc.), and a General Test (Current Affairs, Reasoning, Math). 

Key Components of CUET UG 2026 Syllabus:

Section I (Languages): Assesses language proficiency through Reading Comprehension (factual, literary, narrative), vocabulary, and literary aptitude.

Section II (Domain-Specific): Covers NCERT Class 12 syllabus for subjects including but not limited to Accountancy, Biology, Chemistry, Economics, History, Mathematics, Physics, Political Science, and Sociology.

Section III (General Test): Focuses on General Knowledge, Current Affairs, General Mental Ability, Numerical Ability, and Quantitative Reasoning (up to Grade 8 level). 

Important Details:

Exam Structure: 50 questions for each test paper, with 40 to be attempted within 60 minutes.

Marking Scheme: +5 for correct answers, -1 for incorrect answers.

Choices: Candidates can choose up to 5 subjects, including languages and the General Test. 

The official syllabus for 2026 is based on the National Testing Agency (NTA) guidelines, and candidates are advised to follow the NCERT curriculum closely.

CUET Exam Date 2026(Expected)

The CUET UG 2026 exam is scheduled to be conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) from May 11 to May 31, 2026. This Computer-Based Test (CBT) will cover over 37 subjects, including languages and domain-specific topics, with the detailed subject-wise datesheet expected to be released on the official website, cuet.nta.nic.in.
