In case your domain has been verified, but it has been lost or removed from your website, you will need to re-verify it.

Adding an HTML verification code/CNAME record will indicate that you are a verified owner when viewed in the search console.

There is no option to see the HTML verification code or CNAME record anywhere. However, you can get back through following these steps.

  • Access Google Search Console: Log in to your Google Search Console account. Ensure you are using the same Google account that is linked to your Blogger website.
  • Select Your Property: From the property dropdown menu (usually at the top left), select the Blogger website for which you need the verification code.
  • Navigate to Settings: In the left-hand navigation panel, locate and click on "Settings."
  • Ownership Verification: Within the "Settings" section, find and click on "Ownership verification."(It will show that you are a verified owner.)

  • Click on Manage Users and Permission
  • Select Property (Your Domain)
  • Click on three dots beside the owner verified.
  • Click on ownership Verification Details
  • You will get back HTML Code or CNAME Record

  • Copy the Code: Copy the entire HTML meta tag or just the verification code (the content attribute value) as needed.
  • Re-add to Blogger (if necessary): If the tag was removed or lost from your Blogger theme, go to your Blogger dashboard, navigate to "Theme," then "Edit HTML," and paste the copied HTML meta tag within the <head> section of your blog's code. Save the changes.
  • Verify (if necessary): If Search Console indicates that the site is no longer verified, return to Search Console and click the "Verify" button for the HTML tag method to re-verify your ownership.
