NEET UG 2026 Re Exam Guidelines
The Re-NEET UG 2026 examination is officially scheduled for June 21, 2026. The exam timings are from 2:00 PM to 5:20 PM. Candidates do not need to re-register, and new admit cards will be available for download starting June 14, 2026.
Exam Timings & Format
Extended Time: Students will get an extra 15 minutes, making the total exam duration 3 hours and 15 minutes. The extra 15 minutes are specifically allocated for mandatory examination formalities, such as biometric verification and documentation, before the actual writing time begins.
No Syllabus Changes: The syllabus, pattern, and marking scheme remain the same as the original exam.
Mode: The exam remains in the traditional pen-and-paper (offline) mode.
Reporting/Entry Rules:
Reporting Time: Starts at 11:00 AM.
Gate Closing: The entry gates will lock strictly at 1:30 PM. You will not be allowed to enter after this time under any circumstances.
Seating: You are expected to be in your assigned seat well before the start time to facilitate final procedures.
Exam Pattern: The syllabus, marking scheme (+4/-1), and the 13 available language mediums remain identical to the original guidelines.
Admit Cards & Centers
Admit Cards: Fresh admit cards must be downloaded from the official National Testing Agency website starting June 14.
No Re-registration: If you registered for the original exam, you are automatically eligible.
Exam Day Dress Code & Rules
Clothing: Candidates must wear light, loose, and comfortable clothing (preferably half-sleeved t-shirts and loose pants).
Banned Items: Heavy embroidery, full sleeves, large buttons, badges, caps, scarves, watches, and all metallic jewelry are strictly prohibited.
Footwear: Simple sandals or open slippers are recommended; shoes and boots are not allowed.
Allowed Items: Only a transparent water bottle, hand sanitizer, and authorized exam documents are permitted inside the hall.
Fee Refunds
The NTA is processing a full refund of the application fee for all candidates who registered. Make sure to update your bank account details carefully on the portal to avoid transaction failures.
