NEET UG 2026: How to Fill Application Form
Step 1.
Go to https://neet.nta.nic.in/
Step 2.
Candidate Activity
Click
Click on New Registration
Step 3.
- The recent passport-size photograph should be in color or black and white, and at least 80% of the image must consist of the candidate’s face, including the ears. Photograph should be in JPG/JPEG format (clearly legible) between 10 kb to 200 kb.
- Signature file should be in JPG/JPEG format between 10 kb to 100 kb.
- Left and Right Hands all Fingers and Thumb impressions should be in JPG/JPEG format between 10 kb to 200 kb.
- Scanned copy of Category Certificate (if applicable) should be in pdf format between 50 kb to 300 kb.
- Scanned copy of Class 10 or Equivalent Certificate should be in pdf format between 50 kb to 300 kb.
- Scanned copy of Class X or Equivalent Marks-sheet should be in pdf format between 50 kb to 300 kb.
- If Class X or Equivalent Marks are in CGPA, then scanned copy of Conversion / Equivalent Certificate should be in pdf format between 50 kb to 300 kb.
- Scanned copy of Identity Proof (for those candidates who will verify their identities through methods other than Aadhaar or Digilocker) should be in format JPG/JPEG between 10 kb to 200 kb.
- Scanned copy of PwD/PwBD/UDID certificate (if applicable) should be in pdf format between 50 kb to 300 kb.
- Scanned copy of Address Proof (Present and Permanent) should be in pdf format between 50 kb to 300 kb.
- Scanned copy of NRI / OCI/ Foreigner Certificate/ Documentary Proof (for candidates with nationality other than Indian) should be in pdf format between 50 kb to 300 kb.
Save ready documents in your PC before applying.
Tick on consent given on last page and Click Here to Proceed.
Step 4.
If Permanent & Present Address are different then you should upload both Address proof in one PDF in upload section page.
Create Password
- Password must be 8 to 13 character long.
- Password must have at least one Upper case alphabet.
- Password must have at least one Lower case alphabet.
- Password must have at least one numeric value.
- Password must have at least one special characters eg.!@#$%^&*-
For Example: India@123456
Security Question: For security of your Login Account, please choose a security question and give an answer only you know. We ask you this question in case you forget your password and also if we need to verify your identity.
Before proceeding, please review your Personal Details, Present Address, and Permanent Address and confirm them by selecting all the required checkboxes.
After filling all details tick on I Agree and submit for OTP.
Step 5.
After entering OTP Submit Registration Form
Step 6.
Note down Application Number for Future use because You will be need Application No. & Password for login.
Click on Fill Up Application Form
Step 7.
Click on Register Personal Details
Step 8.
Save & Next
Step 9.
Complete Disability Details & Submit
Step 10.
Fill Aadhaar no. and Confirm
You will get OTP on Registered mobile No. With Aadhaar
Verify OTP & Submit
Step 11.
You have APAAR/ABC ID, Select Yes otherwise NO
Step 12.
Choose Three Exam Center & Save
Step 13.
Fill 10th & 12th details
Step 14.
Fill Additional Details & Save
Step 15.
You will get OTP on both
Verify OTP & Submit
Step 16.
- Connect your webcam to the device used for filling the application form. The Live Camera box will display your live image.
- Ensure a light background, proper lighting, single human face covering 80% of the face.
- Click “Capture Live Photograph” to take the photo.
- If satisfied, click “Upload Photograph” to save it. If not, retake and upload again.
- If your device doesn’t support a webcam, scan the QR code on the right to capture and upload using your mobile. After uploading, click “Refresh Captured Photo.”

Upload Documents & Submit
Review Details and Final Submit
Step 18.
If need click on Edit Application Form
Or, Click to Email Verification
Verify Email OTP
and Click on Pay Examination Fee in online mode by Credit/Debit Card, Net banking, UPI QR
Step 19.
After Successful payment you will get Confirmation page, You must keep for future.
